The fight for children with cancer

Don’t let children face cancer alone – join the journey to save lives.

Your support powers every step of a 1,500km run across the UK to raise money for a new children’s cancer unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Let’s make every mile count.

Hi, I’m Benito Panice, and welcome to Miles For More.

This September, I’ll be running 1,500km across the UK, starting at the top of Scotland and finishing at Brighton Pier. That’s 100km a day, the equivalent of two and a half marathons, every single day for 15 days. The total elevation is over 22,000 metres, which is nearly three times the height of Mount Everest.

It will be the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally.

But that’s still nothing compared to what children with cancer go through.

I’m doing this to help raise money for a new children’s cancer unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital, a place that once saved my niece’s life when she was born. Now I want to give back, and help more families get the care and hope they deserve.

At the beginning of this year, I had never run further than a marathon. I started with 2 or 3 kilometre runs and could barely imagine doing ten. This is a massive leap, but it’s a leap with purpose.

Every step. Every mile. Every blister is for them.

For the kids. For the families. For more time. More care. More hope.

Thank you for being here. If you can, please donate, share the story, or simply follow the journey. Together, we can make something extraordinary happen.

A race to protect the future of children with cancer

Thousands of children face cancer every year – and many don’t have access to the care they need. Miles For More is raising funds for a new children’s cancer unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital to change that.
